Who this site is for
Still Morning is for adults. A parent, or a family member or friend with the parent's permission, orders the song. We do not offer accounts to children and do not knowingly collect anything from children.
What we collect and why
- Your order: your email; the child's first name, how to say it, age band, the occasion; and the details you type for the song. We use them only to write and sing the song and to send you your order link (contract).
- Payment: Stripe takes your payment; we receive the amount, currency and a payment reference, never your card number (contract, legal obligation for accounting).
- Statistics: anonymous page counts from our own server: pages viewed, where a visit came from, country and device type. No cookies, no advertising trackers. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. (legitimate interest).
Please keep it minimal
Use the child's first name only. Do not type surnames, addresses, school names, health details or religious information into the form; the writer is told to leave anything that locates a child out of every song.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage, email), USA/EU.
- Stripe (payments).
- OpenRouter and the model hosts it routes to, set to hosts that do not keep or train on requests (writing the lyrics).
- Google (the music model that sings the lyrics).
Transfers outside the UK/EU rely on standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
How long we keep it
We keep your order and song so your links keep working. Ask us and we delete the order, the details and the song within 30 days. Payment records are kept for six years for tax law. Unpaid draft orders are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability. Write to hello@stillmorning.net. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data protection authority.
AI content
Songs are made with AI and the MP3 file carries a tag saying so. Lyrics are written from your details only; we do not use your details to train any model.
